Six Capitol Police officers have been suspended with pay and 29 more are under investigation for their actions during the Jan. 6th riot at the U.S. Capitol, according to CNN.

According to Congressman Tim Ryan, one of the suspended officers posed for a selfie with a protester, while another directed people around the Capitol building while wearing a MAGA hat.

Acting Chief Yogananda Pittman has promised “appropriate discipline” for any officer “whose conduct is not in keeping with the Department’s Rules of Conduct.”

The number may grow as investigators and the public sift through social media and lodge allegations that officers may have been involved in the siege.
